Mr. Surya is the Cambridge Coordinator, Exams Officer and Head of Mathematics at Discoveri Oaks.
He holds a B.Tech from the West Bengal University of Technology and a B.Ed from Gujarat University.
With over seven years of experience in academics and about one and a half years in the corporate world, he has explored both sides of professional life—only to discover that teaching young minds is far more thrilling than chasing deadlines on Excel sheets.
Having served as a Coordinator for four years and a Subject Head for five, Surya has worked across multiple education boards—West Bengal Board, CBSE, Gujarat Board, and Cambridge.
Each experience has deepened his understanding of the art and science of learning.
Why teaching? For him, it’s simple—it makes him happy. Teaching gives him an unmatched sense of purpose and joy.
