An alumna of Hansraj College, University of Delhi and Presidency University, Ms. Sagarika Sarkar Bose serves as the Senior School Coordinator at Discoveri Oaks School.
A versatile academic and dynamic administrator, she brings extensive experience across Cambridge and CBSE curricula, leading Grades VI to X and overseeing both academic and co-curricular excellence.
She has successfully led and mentored departments in Languages, Humanities, Global Perspectives and Information Technology, fostering innovation in curriculum planning, assessment design and holistic learning practices.
A CBSE-certified Resource Person and Answer Script Examiner, she plays an active role in teacher training and pedagogical development, advocating for creative, experiential and inclusive learning.
Her association with IIMUN and Generation Global reflects her commitment to nurturing globally aware, articulate and empathetic communicators.
Under her mentorship, more than 500 students have participated in Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, honing their skills in diplomacy, collaboration and leadership.
Ms. Sagarika is also a Fellow of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, where she contributes to initiatives on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) — integrating emotional intelligence, empathy and resilience into the fabric of classroom practice.
Recognised for her outstanding contribution to education, she received the Athena Aristeia Award from the Hyderabad Sahodaya Schools Complex (2024) and the Certificate of Recognition from Time2Grow (2025) for exemplary educational leadership.
Coming from a family deeply rooted in academia, her late grandfather served as the Principal of The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, and her late mother was an English educator and Vice Principal.
Their legacy continues to inspire her commitment to excellence, empathy and lifelong learning.
A trained Kathak dancer from Bhatkhande Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, she brings creativity, discipline and cultural depth to her leadership approach.
