STUDENTS COMMUNITY
At Discoveri Oaks School, we believe in taking care of our environment and fostering a sustainable future. The Student SEWA Program – Planting Trees is an initiative that empowers students to actively participate in environmental conservation by planting trees within and around our school premises. Through this program, we aim to instill a sense of environmental responsibility, create awareness about the importance of trees and contribute to a greener and healthier community.
The student SEWA Program aims to raise awareness among students about the importance of trees and the positive impact they have on our environment. Through educational initiatives and hands-on experiences, students develop a deep understanding of the role trees play in ecological balance.
By actively participating in planting and nurturing trees, students learn about sustainable practices and their role in preserving the environment. They gain knowledge about proper tree care, including watering, pruning and protecting trees from pests and diseases.
The program also encourages our students to engage with the broader community and spread awareness about the significance of tree planting. Students actively involve their families, neighbors and local organizations in tree planting activities, fostering a sense of community and collective responsibility.
Lastly, the Student SEWA Program aims to create a lasting impact by promoting a culture of environmental stewardship. By involving students in tree planting initiatives, we empower them to take ownership of their environment and inspire others to follow suit.
